LOLGATECAMP WN. Decided to finally strike back in the heart of our Ratting systems

White Noise. as a whole has been bending over and taking it in the war so far. Today, I made a mistake of ratting in russian prime times. I was ratting in JU-OWQ for a few hours without anyone setting off our intel channels or coming into local. I relaxed, and got comfortable. I was flying to VFK in my drake (I was going to do it in a rifter, but I would have more room for missiles in my drake, and I bridged from JU-OWQ (we really need to recap JU-RU salem) to CCP-US (CCP Sucks is the station name). I jump from CCP-US to 2R-CRW (If we had a station, it’d be called: 2 Live Crew) I was immediately blobbed by 3 interdictors. One was a saber, and I didn’t see the rest. I held my cloak for 30seconds ( I have cloaking 3 and I couldn’t remember how many seconds were added in the big patch after you jump through a gate. I kept my cool, afterburnered back to the gate, and jumped back into CCP. When I jumped back in, I was immediately bubbled by a Sabre. I held my cloak, tried to figure out what I could do to save myself. Talos, tornado, tornado, tornado, lachesis, claymore, scimitar, tornado. Then the fags from the other side jumped through. I waited it out again, tried to figure out what I could do. I wouldn’t be able to burn through the bubble. If I decloaked, I wouldn’t be able to shield tank through their damage.
So let’s stop and evaluate my mistakes and good choices so far:
1.) Don’t agress. I didn’t aggress anyone.
2.) MAKE SURE YOUR FUCKING AUTO-TARGET BACK IS DISABLED YOU IDIOTS. You are running, not fighting. CHECK. I had this disabled.
3.) Keep a hawk eye on local at all times. Knowledge is power: know what the fuck is in a system so you are prepared for the Spanish Inquisition before they come for you in their silly suits. FAILED MISERABLY. If I had looked at local before I left the CCP Pos, I would have never warped, I would have and jumped into 2R-CRW. The local chat channel is a powerful tool. Anyone who is currently in the system will show up in local. If they have a red icon next to their name, that means they have a negative standing with our alliance and you should be cautious, as they will probably attempt to attack you. If they have a red star icon, then they are on the opposing side of a war and can even attack you in empire.
RULE #42.) Don’t Panic. You’re Hitchhiking through the Galaxy, so keep this rule foremost in your mind. Remain calm: You may already be dead, but you must try to run for it. DID THAT. Because I’m cool as shit.
5.) *Especially important in null* If you enter a system with hostiles, even if your entry gate is clear, do NOT warp to the next gate. Two options are to get eyes on the next gate (warp to a planet at >0km within scan range of your target gate). Or you can wait your session timer, decloak, and return the way you came.
6.) Assume every hostile has a point, assume there’s a cloaked dictor in every gatecamp. A pro dictor pilot can decloak and bubble the second you decloak. They weren’t subtle, no need for assumption.
So, I jump back into CCP-US. Notice reds in local, then an immediate Interdictor bubble. Welp, they had both sides of the gate. I’m still cloaked. I hold it for 45 seconds while I weigh my options. 12km off the gate, with an afterburner, in a fucking drake. Drakes take a little while to align. I would have been fucked in that drake and probably fucked in a destroyer. I might have survived this in a fleet fit rifter (I have a ton of them). Rifters haul balls, especially with my little newbee skills.

That’s right bitches, I Rat in 60mil worth of +3 implants like a fucking idiot. I’d put my losses at 90mil. That wipes out the whole day of ratting for me. I deserved it, I know better.
Don’t you bitches worry, I got my revenge. We formed a fleet in DKUK-G and came back for them. We got all of them in VFK right before maintenance, but that was the only killmail I could locate. Not everyone was able to pull their kill mail before maintenance went up. I’ll edit this with the rest of them if I can remember.
