I pretty much banged out a few hours of wins on League of Legends after all of that. That game is so extremely competitive of the weekends. Everyone is always crying when they lose and bitching at their teammates. I almost  wish that the chat could be filtered for known crybabies. I think I only lost 2 games, and that was because of AFK’s. I was watching movies and Rewatching the first two seasons of True Blood the whole time I was playing League of Legends.

Sunday:

Good ol’ July 4th. Yes, before you ask, I watched Independence Day, Apollo 13, Good Morning Vietnam, and The Patriot in HD .  Sam and I ended up at House of Pies for Philly Cheesesteaks and onion rings. It doesn’t get more American than that. We were surrounded by loud ass idiots the whole time. Diners are just like that, I guess. Then we went to go see Toy Story 3, and it was awesome. Pixar has yet to put out a bad movie. That studio is kind of like Blizzard Entertainment. They only put out quality stuff. You could see the fireworks going off from our parking garage roof. There were a lot of people up there with beer, just kicking back, relaxing, and enjoying the show.

I tried to get Fatima to hang out with us several times this weekend, but she would rather do crap on the internet then hang out with real people

In other news: I should be posting my iMac, mac mini, and Remington 700 .30-06 SPS on ebay soon. I know its been like 2 weeks, but I’ve been pretty busy. Harold sounds interested in the rifle, but we’ll see.

The A-Team was funny. Get him to the Greek was really funny.

Need to watch: Splice, Toy Story 3, The Karate Kid, Brooklyn’s Finest, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World (not out yet), Knight and Day, Grown Ups, Prince of Persia, Robin Hood, Date Night, The Big Four

Sam and I have been making more social appearances in Midtown Houston. The NBA and NHL finals have been more conducive to sportsbar awesomeness. Astros are always playinf, so that’s cool. We never miss MMA when its on. UFC watching parties are great. We also figured out that the grocery store preps wings. We add Frank’s Red Hot and it’s great.

I’ve been playing a lot of League of Legends and Starcraft 2 beta a lot. Thanks to glhf.tv for the all the cool replays and commentary. Phreak has also been bringing a pretty good commentary game.

Tim Kennedy and Babalu did great at strikeforce this week.

The idea of posting stuff here, is so friends and family can hold me accountable and check in to see what I’ve been doing/eating. I expect my roommate james to give me crap for not following this.

I have a goal of 2 years to be in the 225-240 ballpark. I honestly don’t know what my weight is now. I don’t care. I just want to fit in smaller clothes. I want to be able to fit into a gi. I want to be able do jiu jitsu.  That’s the honest injun reason. I could be very good at it, my brother and my dad know why. I can see the setups and transitions to finishing moves 3-4 moves ahead. Now I just need my body to be there so I can join in on the fun.

Melvin Manhoef vs. Remy Bonjasky  <—– OMG. Remy won the first one, but can melvin win this time? Remy had him on the floor a lot of the time from kicks. A kick finally took melvin out. I think Melvin is just too short to take out Remy.

Jerome LeBanner vs. Musashi <—– LeBanner for the win. He beat Musashi last time via KO in the second round VERY convincingly.

Daniel “SUPER ROOKIE” Ghita vs. Semmy Schilt <— This is like Brock Lesnar fighting Randy Couture for the title in his 3rd fight. Ghita is absolutely devastating though. I have a feeling Semmy Schilt will need new knees after this. I pick Daniel Ghita. Win by TKO (leg kicks or liver kick) (hahahahhaha @ the k-1 video calling Daniel Ghita “SUPER ROOKIE”. K-1 is going to be pissed off when Ghita pulls the upset. He literally walked his way through all of his opponents so far in the GP.

Peter Aerts vs. Alistair Overeem <— DEMOLITION MAN!!! Unfortunately Overeem can’t throw elbows in this. I still pick him to win. Peter Aerts can’t handle Overeem.

Bader Hari vs. Zabit Samedov <—- BADR F’IN HARI. That’s all I need to say about that.

Ruslan Karaev vs Kyotaro Fujimoto (Keijiro Maeda) <— KARAEV. This was a tough choice but I see Ruslan Karaev pulling out the win over Kyotaro because he’s just that much better. And he doesn’t come in to the ring wearing dresses and shit.

Glaube Feitosa vs. Errol Zimmerman <— Glaube with the Kyokushin FTW! I know he lost the first fight, but I don’t see errol pulling the repeat on this. Glaube’s headkicks will win it for him.

Ewerton Teixiera vs. Singh “Heart” Jaideep <—- I’m going to have to pick the Heart pulling the upset in this one. I know, this is a bad pick, and I wouldn’t bet this way unless you are going for the underdog payout. I see a lot more potential in this guy than most people do. He would learn a lot if he just flew up to holland and kicked it (literally lol) with some of the locals.
